Electric Skateboards - Cost Effective Travel

I did some sums recently and worked out with the aid of a clever little computer thing attached to my mains power, that the cost of fully charging my electric skateboard from flat was about 1cent an hour, x 6 hours = 6 cents per charge. I get about 18 km on a run with my lithium battery fully charged. Assuming you take this to work and do 15 kmn to work (recharge at work) then skate home and do this 5 days a week. the  power cost = per week $0.60 or 60 cents per week = 2.4 per month and a whole $28.80 per year. About the cost of two people going to the movies without popcorn and soft drinks. !!!

Now that's not bad.

Great weather yesterday, Took the Fiik Big Daddy and the Street Surfer out to the local BMX Track with Clint a customer of mine, had a ball - hard workout though on the legs. Then Finished off with a greatride along the beach front at Caloundra. Way too many people though - but a great time anyway.
